The goal of this project was to recover approximately 65,000 cubic metres of residual fibre for utilization at Pinnacle Renewable Energy in Burns Lake, B.C. This significantly reduced fibre left on site to be slash burned during standard post-harvest operations. The result of this activity was an overall reduction in greenhouse gas emission by avoiding burning activity.
