Westside Koocanusa Lake Wildfire Risk Reduction/ER Treatments

This project focused on wildfire risk reduction in forested areas close to Newgate, B.C., located on Lake Koocanusa. Activity included hand slashing, pile burning, and grass seeding to reduce wildfire risk and enhance forage availability for both wildlife and domestic livestock.
