South Canim Fire Management Planning

This project enabled the Canim Lake Indian Band to develop a Fire Management Plan to provide strategic direction for future treatments to reduce the risk of wildfire. The project focused on creating a landscape-level plan for wildfire fuel breaks to reduce risk and protect lives and properties from wildfire on Crown land surrounding the community of Canim Lake Band on the southwest end of Canim Lake.
