Provincial Forest Carbon Reforestation Project

The focus is to reforest areas of BC Crown Land that would otherwise not regenerate naturally to healthy growing forests that sequester carbon from the atmosphere. Some of the areas were heavily degraded from wildfires over the last 10 years. Some higher elevation areas are targeted for reforestation with provincially rare and endangered species, the goal being to increase the resiliency of BC Forests.
