The 2017/2018 Application Guide is now available on the Forest Enhancement Society of BC (FESBC) website, along with a guidance document to help proponents when applying in the new FESBC Information Management System portal (FESIMS).
The 2017/2018 Application Guide has been updated for the November proposal intake. Please consult the guide to determine if your project is eligible for funding through FESBC. The guide is available immediately online or for download from the FESBC website, HERE. A limited number of hard copies will be available by request within the next few weeks.
All applications for FESBC funding must now go through the online FESIMS portal. A FESIMS User Guide, which provides an overview of the system and guides applicants through the process, is available HERE. It is recommended that applicants print off the FESIMS User Guide to streamline the online application data entry. Proponents applying for funding can begin entering information in the portal starting on November 6th, 2017. Information can be added to the application prior to final submission right through to the deadline date of November 24th, 2017.
The FESBC Operations Managers will review all proposals and present them to the Board for consideration. FESBC anticipates Board funding decisions will be made within three to four months after the close of the intake, after which applicants will be notified. Although applicants will not be notified of the ongoing status of their applications, they will be able to keep apprised of the status of their proposals by accessing the FESIMS system.
